4. Khulo-Tago Cableway and the village of Tago
About 1700 meters (5577 ft) long, one-section Khulo-Tago Cableway connects Khulo town (right side of Acharistskhali River) to Tago village (left side of Acharistskhali River). As both stations are on high slopes, the cable car moves several hundred meters high over the river. The cableway is the common way for transportation for the residents of Tago.

From Tago village, we can hike a little through Dzmagula village to Skhalta Valley or to return back to Khulo by the cableway and go to the valley by car. In Skhalta Valley we visit medieval Skhalta Church, a cathedral temple for highland Adjara.
