Khde Valley — Juta



The tour begins from Dariali Valley, from the confluence of Khdistskhali and Tergi (Terek) Rivers.

The trial passes through the picturesque Khde Valley, located among over-4000 meters (13123 ft) high peaks. Greenwood is turned into alpine fields, alpine fields — into rocky lifeless landscape and finally we reach Khibishi Glacier (the source of Khdistskhali River). Then through a pass we descent to Juta Village. Along the tour we meet a strange phenomenon: on certain points, Khdistskhali River hides underground and after some distance appears again. The valley without a river is a really strange sight.

During the trial, there are one or two nights to overnight in tents in Khde Valley
