1. GENERAL INFORMATION
Okrotskhali Lakes [Golden Water Lakes] include two incredible highland lakes located in the headwaters of two mountainous rivers:
● Didi Okrostskhali [Great Golden Water] Lake – on the headwaters of the Ormeleti River
● Patara Okrostskhali [Little Golden Water] Lake – on the headwaters of the Kvakva River.
The rivers themselves are the right tributaries of the Enguri River.
The trail passes through high mountains, glaciers, forests, and highland fields, offering an experience you’ll never forget.

2. NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS
● The tour will proceed if at least 6 participants are registered.
● If by the date 10 days prior the tour the minimum number of participants is not met, the tour will be canceled, and a full refund will be issued.

3. BASIC TOUR CHARACTERISTICS
● Departure and arrival available from Tbilisi, Gori, Kutaisi, and Zugdidi
● 1 night's stay in guesthouses
● 3 nights camping in tents
● Hiking distance approximately 21 km (13.5 miles)
● Tour duration: 5 days / Hiking duration: 3.5 days

4. TOUR SCHEDULE
Day 1:
● 08:00 – Departure from Orbeliani Square, Tbilisi. Participants can join en route at various locations.
● Afternoon – Arrival at Khaishi, Mestia Municipality. Check-in at a Guesthouse, dinner (kubdari and local cuisine)
Day 2:
● 07:00 – Wake up, breakfast, and check-out
● 08:00 – Departure via dump-box or off-road dump truck
● 11:00 – Trek start
● Evening – Set camp at Didi Okrostskhali Lake
Day 3:
● 09:00 – Leave camp without heavy backpacks for Patara Okrostskhali Lake. Visit the lake and return to the campsite.
Day 4:
● Break, free time. This day serves as a reserve day as well, in case of unforeseen circumstances.
Day 5:
● 09:00 – Depart from campsite and return to the trek start. Return to Khaishi via dump truck and then back to Tbilisi.
● Evening: Arrival in Tbilisi

5. SOME IMPORTANT RULES AND INFO
❕ The track is challenging. Participants must acknowledge its difficulty, assess their own physical condition and capabilities before registering.
❕ Provided equipment will be distributed among participants in need, who will then carry it.
❕ Transportation via dump truck for 28 km each way is uncomfortable and requires endurance.
❕ Potable water is available en route, but participants may carry their own if preferred.
❕ Each participant must carry their own medical and hygiene supplies (a first aid kit is provided, but individual needs may vary).
❕ Tour guide's instructions must be followed.
❕ Alcohol consumption is permitted in moderation and only after camp is set.
❕ Participants must have adequate and appropriate clothing for the tour.
❕ Long trousers and long-sleeve shirts are essential for areas with insects and high grass.
❕ No cell coverage on the trekking route.
❕ Other tour details (campsite locations, use of one-day break, decisions in extreme situations, etc.) will be determined during the hike.

Price per person: $455

❌ Special individual medical and hygiene supplies (we provide a first aid kit but are not aware of individual needs)

7. BOOKING AND REFUND

Refunds:
● Upon tourist's demand (cancellation request must be made no later than the day 10 days prior to the tour)
● If the tour is canceled by Bisna (including failure to meet minimum number of tourists) – in this case, refunds will be issued immediately after the cancellation.

8. SPECIAL DECLARATION FOR THE CITIZENS OF RUSSIA
❕ Before the tour, Russian citizens (without having Georgian citizenship simultaneously) must sign the declaration.
❕ Refusing to sign the declaration will result in refusal to join the tour. Bisna reserves the right to withhold refund in this case.
